New year, new Darling Dream Co.! As we welcome 2023, we are excited to be introducing so many new features to our brand that are going to positively impact our customers’ shopping experience with us! We are always looking for ways to improve your experience at DDC because we truly value and appreciate each of you.
Ready-to-Ship
The first, biggest, and most important change to our shop is that beginning January 1, all of our adult apparel will be ready-to-ship. This means that your package will ship within 1-3 business days from when you order! Coming from a 3-4 week turnaround time, this is huge, and we are SO excited to be able to offer this to our customers. This does lead us to the possibility of selling out, so make sure you stay up to date with our drops via Instagram and our newsletter! A very important thing to note is that kids apparel will still have a 2-3 week turnaround time, so if your order contains a kids preorder, your order won’t ship until it is complete.
Drop Schedule / Same-Day Shipping
The next thing we are switching up in the new year is our drop schedule! Starting Monday, January 2nd, we will be having a drop EVERY Monday at 7 am pst. These drops will include a combination of new designs, as well as some restocks. Another very exciting thing we are able to offer beginning in January is SAME-DAY SHIPPING! If your order is placed before 12 pm pst on a drop day, your order will ship the same day. Make sure you set those alarms so you don’t miss out!
Returns and Exchanges
The next new feature we will be adding to our shop is returns & exchanges! We will be introducing a portal, which will be easily accessible through our new Customer Care page, that will allow you to begin the process of a return or exchange. We are very excited about this opportunity for our customers, since we know it can be so hard to shop online! Through the process on the portal, our team will determine whether or not our returns & exchanges policy is met through your inquiry, and as long as it is, your return/exchange will then be approved! This set-up is going to be so user friendly, and we can’t wait to hear how this changes the shopping experience for our customers. An important thing to note is that we will only be able to exchange sizes if the size you’re looking for is in stock.
Sunday Night Live
In order to showcase everything that is dropping on Mondays, we will be introducing a new tradition called “Sunday Night Live!” Come live with us on Instagram and see everything that is hitting the shop the next morning! We will be going live every Sunday night at 7:30 pm pst, and who knows what other sneak peeks or prizes may be waiting for you!
Next-Day Delivery
We will be experimenting with a new premium, next-day delivery service! Do you live in Orange County, California, or are you staying at a resort near Disneyland? We will drop your order off at your doorstep for an added fee! This feature is so exciting for anyone who needs to order at the last minute for a trip to Disneyland! Forget about the unknowns of shipping delays, let us drive to you!
Questions & Reviews
The last new feature that we are adding to our shop, and specifically to our website, is a section in each listing for questions & reviews! Have a question about a product? You’ll be able to ask it directly on the listing, and our answer to you will be displayed for other customers to review as well! And who knows, maybe someone already had the same question you were wondering… their question will be displayed with our answer for you to read through before you purchase. Think like Amazon! Real customers’ questions with the sellers’ answers? Brilliant! We will also have product reviews directly on the listing, that way you can see how other customers have felt about the product in the past! We are excited about this and really think it will help customers press that “add to cart” button even quicker, making it a more stress-free shopping experience!
