We each had the filet mignon as our entree, which was quite possibly one of the best filets I’ve ever had!
Dillon and I got to experience dinner at Napa Rose this week, and it did NOT disappoint! It’s been on our bucket list, and we were so excited! Napa Rose is an upscale restaurant located inside of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. Per Disney: “Known for its award-winning wine list, exemplary service and delectable dining, Napa Rose will feature both the prix fixe Vintner Menu and a la carte selections, where Guests can savor wine country cuisine featuring dishes that honor California’s rich culinary bounty, artisan farmers and world-famous wine makers.”
Dillon and I both ordered from the a la carte portion of the menu. We shared the Herb Potato Gnocchi to start, which was outstanding. We each had the filet mignon as our entree, which was quite possibly one of the best filets I’ve ever had! We then shared the Brazilian SOMETHING for dessert. We can’t remember what it was called, but it was chocolate and sorbet! We loved it, but we liked it better separately rather than together!
Our reservation was magically scored the day before, and it was set for 8:55 pm. We ate very late, and left very late. But that was our own doing. The servers and the rest of the cast members were absolutely outstanding. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, polite… I could go on and on! Also? Complimentary VALET parking at the Grand for 5 hours with validation! Talk about service!
It is a very pricey experience, but absolutely worth it! We’ve always wanted to eat here, and although it probably won’t happen again for us for a while, we HIGHLY recommend Napa Rose!
