2023 is going to be a BIG YEAR for Darling Dream Co! We have lots of new and exciting things to announce as we enter the new year, along with tons of new designs hitting our shop! Ready-to-ship, and weekly drops, and returns/exchanges, OH MY!

Ready-to-Ship
In 2023, Darling Dream Co is making the biggest change of all… ALL of our adult apparel will be READY TO SHIP!!!! You heard that correctly. We will no longer be defaulting to pre-orders at Darling Dream Co. When you order an adult garment from our store, you can expect it to ship within 2-3 business days from the time you order. We began this model with our Black Friday sale, and we truly believe this is going to change the game for our customers! We are so excited about this huge shift for our business, and we hope you are too!
**There will be some exceptions to ready-to-ship, the main one being kids’ sizes. We will not be carrying kids’ garments ready-to-ship, so those will remain a pre-order. Home goods will also remain with our regular turnaround of 1-2 weeks because they ship directly from our manufacturer. We will run pre-orders from time to time if we notice something sells out very quickly, but we will always make it known if it’s a pre-order!
To kick off 2023, we are launching our 100th Anniversary Collection on January 1st! Along with our 1923 shirt and crewneck sweatshirt that launched with Black Friday, we are adding four additional designs to our Anniversary Collection, to kick off 100 Years of Wonder with the Walt Disney Company! Not only do we have three brand new designs (“Castle Dreaming,” “Years of Wonder,” and “Started with a Mouse”) but we will also be bringing back “Walt’s World” on a brand new color! And yes… all READY TO SHIP!
New Drop Schedule
With moving our shop to a ready-to-ship model, we are also changing up our drop schedule a bit! We will no longer have “shop drops” and “restock Fridays” as separate drops. We will now have WEEKLY DROPS, which will include a combination of new designs, as well as some restocks… all ready-to-ship! These drops will happen at the same time, and on the same day, each week. Stay tuned for our new drop calendar!
Also in January we will be dedicating one of our drop weeks to FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS in Epcot! We will be adding to our “Dreamer” collection with our new “Epcot Dreamer” design, as well as a couple other brand new arts-inspired designs (“Artsy” and “Pure Imagination”). We will also be bringing back one of our original Festival of the Arts designs, “Call Me an Artist,” on a brand new color!
Now that we are going to be holding inventory in our shop and keeping it ready-to-ship, we are also going to be able to offer returns and exchanges if something you order doesn’t fit how you would expect it to! We will be introducing a return portal that will be easily accessible and very user-friendly for all returns and exchanges. As long as we have the size on hand that you are looking to exchange for, you will be able to submit an exchange request through the portal, and we will make sure you get your new size! This is something we haven’t been able to offer in the past due to the nature of pre-order, and we are very excited to bring this option to our customers.
Another drop week in January is going to be Valentine's Day focused! We will be bringing back all of our top-seller Valentine’s Day designs, as well as introducing one brand new one! Stay tuned for that big reveal, as well as a reveal of a few accessories we will have available ready-to-ship to complete your entire V-day outfit!
Newsletter
Another thing we are going to push hard in 2023 is our newsletter! We will be doing a LOT of marketing and drop announcements via our newsletter (to take a load off of Instagram marketing), so please make sure you are subscribed to our newsletter! Not only will you be the first to receive information and updates regarding our weekly drops, but you will also have the chance to win shop credit, receive special coupon codes, and even gain early access to our drops! You don’t want to miss out, and we look forward to spoiling our Dream Team in the new year!
The last couple of drops in January will contain a new addition to our “Dreamer” collection (Hollywood Studios) as well as a new addition to our “Princess Bounds” collection (Flying Princess)! We will be restocking a couple fan-favorite designs, and the biggest focus towards the end of the month will be the PRINCESS RUN! Stay tuned for our newest designs dedicated to this special and beloved RunDisney event.
