What is it?
The Parade Dining Package is an all-inclusive experience for a lunch meal and reserved seating for A Christmas Fantasy Parade at the Disneyland Resort.
What does it include?
With your dining package, you will receive lunch at Plaza Inn, along with a voucher to return to the reserved viewing of A Christmas Fantasy Parade later in the evening. The reserved viewing spot is in front of the Train Station in Town Square and is roped off for vouchers only.
What time is the package for?
The lunch reservation is between the hours of 1:00-3:30. You will receive your picnic-style lunch and you can eat it at any of the tables located at Plaza Inn, or you can take it with you wherever you’d like. The voucher for the parade is reserved for the 6:30 showing, and you can check in beginning at 6:00
How much does the package cost?
Adult packages are $45, and Kids packages are $25 (Ages 3 through 9). This includes your lunch and the parade viewing voucher. Tax is not included, and Magic Key discounts apply. Kids ages 2 and under are free for the experience, but you are able to purchase a regular kids meal at Plaza Inn if you would like for them to have their own food.
What does the meal come with?
Adult meals consist of beef bourguignon, roasted vegetables, herbed mashed potatoes with a cabernet demi-glace, and a black forest yule log dessert. Kids meals consist of chicken tenders, herbed mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and a black forest yule log dessert
How do I book the dining package?
You can book either on the Disneyland app, or over the phone. When you go on the app, you can type in “Plaza Inn Dining Package,” but you have to search for times between 1:00-3:30 for the dining experience to show up. If you are searching outside of this timeframe, it will not show up as an option. Here you will choose your time for your lunch reservation. You will not pay for the experience until you check in on the day of.
How do I check-in for my dining package?
You will check in for your lunch reservation at Plaza Inn. The cast member will walk you to the register and you will pay for your package during this time, as well as receive your voucher for the parade viewing. After you receive your lunch, you are free to experience the park until check-in begins for the parade at 6:00 at the flagpole in Town Square. You can check in any time between 6:00 and 6:30. Most people show up towards the beginning of that 30-minute time slot, so keep that in mind if you would like a spot right in the front of the reserved area.
Is it worth it?
The answer to this question is relative. For a family who wants prime seating for the parade without the hassle of waiting in your spot on the curb for 2 hours… The answer is YES! In our opinion, this is a fairly well-priced experience, considering you also receive an entire meal with your package. It is all about convenience, and if you are looking for a convenient way to make your park day run a little smoother, this is definitely the way to go! Seating was very spread out, and our two-year-old was dancing along to the parade with plenty of room around him!
